RegionsAdapt is the initiative designed to inspire and support regional governments to adopt strategic approaches to adaptation by prioritising and taking concrete action and then reporting their progress to the CDP platform. The resulting information of the process is monitored and communicated through the RegionsAdapt annual reports and reflected in the UNFCCC Nazca Portal.

In March 2021, RegionsAdapt was announced Official Partner of the Race To Resilience campaign, achieving one of the key milestones of the initiative for 2021, to further contribute to the global agenda on resilience and adaptation.

The RegionsAdapt Strategy Meeting will be hosted by Regions4 with the participation of partners BC3 and CDP. The event will gather the 71 RegionsAdapt member regions to discuss the new milestones on the path to COP26 and beyond, to take subnational leadership on climate adaptation to the next level.
