The COOP’R project brings together around fifteen communities from 6 French-speaking countries (Benin, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, France, Morocco, Senegal).
Co-financed at 50% by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) as part of the “Turnkey 2023/2026” program, the COOP’R project “Promoting inter-regional cooperation for the economic and social development of French-speaking territories respectful of biodiversity in protected areas and spaces,” implemented by the International Association of French-speaking Regions (AIRF) in collaboration with the Federation of Regional Parks of France and Regions4, enables engaged communities to have additional methods, tools, and knowledge to operationalize their projects for the valorization and preservation of natural areas within an integrated territorial management framework. They will also be able to strengthen their links with each other, thus fostering the emergence of common multi-stakeholder projects.
The 11 member communities of AIRF and the COOP’R project will gather for a first thematic webinar exclusive to COOP’R members and partners, focusing on “Governance and conflicts of use” on Wednesday March 6 2024, from 16:00 to 17:30 (GMT +2, Paris time)
