Our planet is getting warmer, with growing impact on our societies and economies. The need to adapt to new climate extremes is driving actions that connect challenges with solutions.

At the online international Climate Adaptation Summit (CAS) 2021 starting 25 January, hosted by the Netherlands, global leaders will launch a comprehensive Adaptation Action Agenda, with clear commitments to deliver concrete new endeavours and partnerships to make our world more resilient to the effects of climate change.

Over the course of 24 hours, a range of online events from all time zones will inspire change and support tangible solutions to the problems of a warming world, showing how we can achieve a climate-resilient future.

The GCA was launched in The Hague, the Netherlands, in October 2018 by former UN Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon with the mandate to encourage the development of measures to manage the effects of climate change through technology, planning and investment.
