Regions4 Annual Report is Out!

Regions4’s Annual Report 2024 highlights a year of impactful regional action, global advocacy, and strengthened partnerships. With a growing network of 55 regions across 22 countries, impacting over 215 million people, we have worked tirelessly to advance sustainable development and climate resilience.

At the heart of our success are our regions, our political leadership and our team. 2024 was a year of significant milestones for Regions4. We welcomed a new political leadership for 2024-2028 and deepened our influence on the global stage, actively shaping discussions at more than 40 key international events, including COP29, COP16 and UN Summits. Through strategic partnerships, we have empowered regions to drive transformative solutions and strengthened interregional cooperation in West Africa for climate and biodiversity just resilience.

At Regions4, we believe that strong connections, within our network and beyond, are the key to meaningful action. Our mission remains clear: to drive a more sustainable, resilient future for all.

I am immensely proud that Scotland is President of the Regions4 Network. Regions4’s work on the twin crises of climate change and biodiversity loss, and on sustainable development is more important now, than ever before. Regions4’s annual report for 2024 details the hugely impactful work that has taken place. As President, Scotland will continue to support this kind of work that has sustainable impact and will make a real difference to vulnerable communities.
